All students, lecturers and researchers who are nationals from a state outside the European Union and who aim to study, work or undertake research stays in Portugal need to obtain a visa at the Portuguese Consulate or Embassy nearest to their area of residence (see here: www.portaldascomunidades.mne.ptthe information on our consular network)
After concluding the enrolment procedures, as well as paying their respective fees and charges, students receive an Acceptance Letter, which must be presented when the visa application is submitted.
After the learning agreement/internship plan has been accepted by the Mobility Coordinator, students receive an Acceptance Letter, which must be presented when the visa application is submitted.
Whenever so requested, Ensino Lusófona Universitie / Institute will send an Acceptance Letter (by email and/or post).´
The Acceptance Letter must be attached to the documents requested by the Consulate/Embassy, when the visa application is submitted.
